I couldn't believe that most of the the reviewers below dismissed this music as just "empty fluff". Maybe it is fluff, but it's brilliant fluff. I've heard far worse (Weber and Liszt come to mind!). Frankly, this is exactly the kind of stuff that needs to be introduced into university music appreciation classes so all those poor college buggers will realize that there is, in fact, a world beyond the crusty realm of Beethoven's 9th Symphony.Every single track on this wonderfully breezy disc is perfectly written and entertainingly performed. Okay, maybe it doesn't have all the emotional profundity and severity of Brahms, but there's certainly more than one way to write a song.
